Until the company gates closed in 1998, the Magirus dump truck belonged to the Bölling fleet in Castrop-Rauxel. The company was founded in the heart of the coal-mining district in 1926. For many decades, it was an integral part of any activities on construction sites between Essen and Dortmund. Over the last few years, WIKING continued to enrich the “Emil Bölling” theme cycle – today, no less than 18 construction vehicles belong to the 1:87 fleet. Hardly any other construction company had a greater variety in their yard than Emil Bölling.
