It was those upgraded sports versions of the Opel Manta that continuously made a big splash - and the second generation with the GT/E type designation was no exception. The sporty silver metallic contrasted with the fine black typography of the type letters in concert with the all-over black design of the bonnet elevate the looks of this modern classic from WIKING. Produced between 1975 and 1988, the real-life coupé’s performance across all equipment options ranged from 55 to 110 hp - or, from sedate to sporty. Sporting two horizontal cooling air openings, the body forms the harmoniously coherent Manta front that was to become the signature characteristic of this sports coupé. The glazing has been given an engraving of the interior mirror, while the bumpers have been inserted in the chassis. WIKING has designed the unmistakable rectangular headlamps as inserts and matched them with an interior that comes with a separate steering wheel – naturally sporting two spokes.
