WIKING is treating the Audi TT Coupé to gleaming and sporty freshness – and it is all in the yellow paintwork. One look at its hatchback was enough to let the second-generation Audi TT Coupé come across as more athletic than its forerunner – which is why the manufacturer attached great hopes to its market launch. And it was no wonder that its unveiling on April 6, 2006 made a big splash, too, given that it was held in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. Only one day later, the latest generation of the Audi TT Coupé drew the largest crowds at the AMI Leipzig auto show. While carrying forward the distinctive clarity of Audi's design in its original moulds, the 1:87 scale miniaturisation also left behind the typical curves that marked the Audi models of the nineties. At first glance, the sideline came across as being more athletic, while the round rear of the predecessor exuded more power.
