Lehmar takes it upon themselves to beat the drum for their multi-purpose boat. And for good reason given the sizeable demand from rescue and aid organizations. If you cast a glance over the WIKING model, you will notice the myriad of details that are appreciated by the fire brigade, the German Life Saving Association DLRG, or the Technical Relief Agency THW. The multi-purpose boat can transport crew and equipment with perfect ease. Aside from that, the boatman has a central place behind the steering wheel, affording him the widest possible view around. Manufactured by Lehmar in Rechlin in the south of the Müritz region, MZB 72 is primarily intended for rescue operations undertaken by aid organizations. And this is also precisely the purpose served by its 1:87 scale miniature sibling - now also in the demonstration version. Acquired by rescue squads and measuring 7.20 metres in length, the MZB 72 offers ample room for up to 15 emergency personnel plus the rescue gear they need. The dual outboard motor realised by WIKING lends an exceptional level of authenticity to the Lehmar multi-purpose boat.
