The classic MAN bonnet truck is a great match with this specialist. The Fuchs dragline excavator is put into action on top of the three-axle chassis. Back in the day, especially during the construction boom of the 1960s, construction companies - and municipalities - enhanced the tried-and-tested Fuchs dragline excavator F 301 by mounting them on these robust chassis, giving them unprecedented mobility. Since the square hood was valued as indestructible, a large number of Fuchs mobile cranes were kept in service until the 1990s. Today, the F 301 is the most recognizable Fuchs dragline excavator, which is not unexpected given the more than 15,000 units that have sold of this model over the span of two decades. In hindsight, the success of this model should come as no surprise seeing as the manufacturer continuously developed the dragline excavator over the years of its production and made it available with a host of equipment options.
