JCB Fastrac in 1:32 provides model enjoyment from the outset WIKING has thus created a highly detailed model whose front and rear tyres all have an agricultural tread. The wheels are reproduced in visibly fine detail – and, what’s more, they can be changed. The traditional model makers are manufacturing the entire lower assembly and the bonnet (which can be opened) from metal. The same applies to the lower link. In addition, WIKING is forming the fenders, the top link, the tank, and the complete cab from plastic, and this emphasises the prototypical character. The headlamps are transparent inserts, as are the transparent orange all-round lights on both sides of the cab rear. In addition, the finely detailed exhaust, mirror, ladder and steps, and the front weight optimise the JCB Fastrac in 1:32 scale. The finely detailed swing axle at the front as well as the precisely steerable front axle ensure model enjoyment from the start. The huge power unit is visible when the bonnet is opened. Both the lower and top links at front and rear are fully mobile, and the same applies to the adjustable external mirrors. In addition, both cab doors can be opened, thus providing an even better view into the cab, and the height of the rear coupling can be adjusted.

The Fastrac 8330 is JCB’s new flagship. With its 348 HP tractor, on Fastrac’s 25th birthday, WIKING has miniaturised the multi-purpose tractor on the basis of its prototype. From the chassis, to the distinctive bodywork components, to the driver’s cab, the traditional model-makers have devoted the greatest care and attention to the Fastrac. The new Command Plus cab naturally contains a true-to-detail comfort seat, as well as the various control elements. The cab appears to be tilted slightly forward, and this is intended to improve vision and protect against solar radiation. The new Fastrac series is based visually and also in its technical details on the Fastrac 4000 series, although the new distinctive lines and the new Command Plus cab catch the eye immediately. In the 32-fold miniaturisation, the prototype width of 2.55 metres and length of 5.65 metres set the framework for the imposing appearance of the 348 HP tractor. In the prototype, the driver has various modes available on the touchscreen display, allowing him to prioritise the various options for power, economy, constant PTO rotational speed, or constant field or road speed. All in all, this is a multi-purpose tractor which can be deployed in agriculture and also on a construction site.
