The cubic generation launched by Mercedes-Benz now débuts as a flatbed version with a tri-axle heavy-duty chassis. This latest addition expands the range of contemporary construction vehicles of the sixties that remained in service far into seventies. For many companies, the cubic cab-over-engine rang in a new era after construction sites had been dominated almost exclusively by bonnet trucks up to that point.
