The bonnet can be opened and reveals a detailed reproduction of the engine, while the rear-side upper and lower links are arranged as movable assemblies. The rear top link can be pulled out, and the trailer coupling is height-adjustable and adaptable. The front weight is removable. The door on the driver's side of the cab along with the rear window can be opened. What is more, the access point on the right-hand side can be folded up, just like the passenger seat on the inside. The warning lights on the roof are designed as moving parts, as are the pivoting exterior mirrors. The swing axle can be controlled with the steering wheel and offers a steering angle that has been significantly expanded. The cab housing the instruments and the fire extinguisher is marked by exceptional attention to detail. Markings, warning signs and lamps boast the same filigree imprints as the hydraulic connections. Lamps and warning signs have been inserted on top of the fenders. Designed as replaceable parts, the wheels come with magnetic rim rings that are fitted with a cover for the wheel bolts, which is also magnetic. Tyres with a knobbly profile round out the overall impression just as much as the rear, which has been replicated with particularly realistic details.

Now, the 1:32 scale is welcoming the latest generation in the form of the Fendt 728 Vario. Its unmistakable appearance is paired with remarkably rich details, made possible by the skill of the traditional model makers. Striking the beholder’s eye immediately is the raised windscreen on the cab, which furnishes the entire tractor with a younger and more innovative look. Also optimised and accurately replicated in the miniature is the turning angle of the original, attributable to a bonnet that is now clearly tapered more narrowly towards the front compared to its predecessors. No Fendt in WIKING’s 1:32 scale selection offers the same agility as the latest generation. Naturally, WIKING has implemented the tractor with countless details, ranging from the option to open cab and bonnet to the optimum level of detailing which mimics the original vehicles, lending the Fendt tractor the greatest possible level of authenticity as a 1:32 scale miniature. The new Vario generation is designed for multifunctional use in everyday farming life - whether in agriculture, grassland or on the road. The real-world siblings of the previous 700s generations are found at businesses of medium and large size as well as at contractors in Europe, North America, and South Africa as well as in Australia and New Zealand. Made available in five models, the new series of the seventh generation covers an output range from 203 to 283 hp – with the Fendt 728 Vario, serving WIKING as their prototype, representing the top-of-the-line model. The original of the Fendt 728 Vario DP utilises a power-boost concept named DynamicPerformance (DP), which releases up to 20 hp more power when needed via an on-demand control system. Tied neither to driving speeds nor special operational tasks, the power-boost concept works dynamically - even during PTO operations at standstill. This allows the Fendt 728 Vario to set new standards in terms of power-to-weight ratio, manoeuvrability and soil protection. With only 30.5 kg per hp power-to-weight ratio and compact external dimensions, the Fendt 728 Vario is exceptionally manoeuvrable in everyday agricultural life and exerts the lowest possible pressure on the ground. Depending on the job at hand, the series can be flexibly loaded with weight in the front, on the rear wheels and at the rear. The bonnet owes its particularly slim and clear-cut design to its narrow diameter of merely 56 centimetres. This design is also responsible for the large 52 degree turning angle of the wheels, an advantage that will also be appreciated from now on by friends of the 1:32 precision scale.
