The Case International 1455 XL counts as a legacy from old IHC times. It was the last tractor worldwide designed by International Harvester, and continued to be built for eleven years after the merger with Case. The Case 1455 XL is therefore a tractor which has written agricultural machinery history. Even today, numerous operations use the 145 HP, 6.5 ton tractor for farm work every day. The 1455 XL is one of the modern classic generation of tractors which retains a loyal following. This is reason enough for WIKING to miniaturise the tractor from the 1980s 87-fold, and thus once more to cement the good reputation of its agricultural products. As the Case 1455 XL, the standard tractor formerly built in Neuss is showcased with all-wheel drive. It previously came off the conveyor belt as the IHC 1455 XL and has previously been offered by WIKING. This type was one of the largest then built by International Harvester – later Case took over the reins of tractor planning, and so tractor manufacturing ceased in Neuss.
