The new Golf Plus certainly lives up to its new name. For the newcomer from Wolfsburg is obviously more roomy - compared to the latest Golf VI, the Plus model looks more spacious whilst still retaining the character of the sixth-generation Golf. For the designers have also given the amazingly roomy compact car a new type-defining front end. The rear end of the Golf VI was also adapted in order to continue the spirit of the VW family. So WIKING has also continued its chronology, which started in 1976, two years after the start of production, with the next generation. Starting right at the front, the Golf Plus also looks somewhat flattened out – but the face remains unmistakeable. The 1:87 model of the sixth-generation compact car, which gave its name to a whole class, enjoys the same wealth of detail as its predecessors but its dynamic styling provides new design accents.
