The Normag Faktor I makes it début with a plough - just as its large-scale model brother did at WIKING in the nineteen fifties. At the time, master model maker Alfred Kedzierski designed the model that is now released in a 1:87 scale version. The plough was included back then as well. 15 hp were supposed to give the prototype enough power at the time to ease the farmer’s daily load – whether the farming business was a full-time job or only a sideline. The new 1:87 model serves as a reminder of this storied past and highlights the quality of the industrial model in whose image it has been shaped. The traditional model makers found it a cinch to use the large sibling model as a tool for their most recent project. The matching proportions and the true-to-the-original engravings make it possible to attain a level of miniaturisation that lives up to the ambitious character shared by all tractor classics. The model makers have given the 1:87 model of the attached twin-steering swing axle complete movability as well. The radiator grille features the signature vent slots, while the air filter is attached on the left. This 1:87 tractor relates an authentic story that gives an account of both the original and WIKING’s tradition.
