The agricultural trailers are almost mandatory programme at WIKING, while the other agricultural machines have become a model-maker’s free-for-all in the last 25 years. Now WIKING has revitalised the trailer that the model maker forged out of the existing moulds of the platform truck and the two-part superstructure in 1976. The model dimensions were intended to be compatible with one another as modules even back then. Typical WIKING: even then they used mould parts in order to combine them as a collection. In 1976 therefore, the agricultural trailer was already an achievement, because it made it possible to turn the MB Trac that had been introduced the previous year into a new combination.
