Rather unimpressive at first sight, this tractor was sold more than half a million times – WIKING fashioned their Ferguson TE based on the original, legendary British classic! After all, little Fergie packed a might punch at the time. This market success encouraged Harry Ferguson to merge with Massey Harris as early as 1953 – giving birth to the powerhouse tractor maker Massey Ferguson. In Germany, little Fergie, rolling off the line 517.649 times, was a rather rare sight, as the tractor market was crowded by a host of strong competitors ranging from Deutz and Fahr to Normag and Hanomag & Co.
